The government’s COVID-19 restrictions are lessening on the 19th of July. As such, we wanted to take this opportunity to update you on our studio’s safety rules, and the expectations we have of our members.

Since the majority of our staff – and a substantial cohort of our members – have not been offered their second vaccinations, we ask you to continue to follow our existing covid etiquette for the foreseeable future.


We ask you to:

Pre-book online if possible. We’ll be operating with limited class numbers, so take a moment to plan ahead. 

Wear a mask – unless you’re in the studio or shower.

Sanitise your hands on entry.

Keep your distance – follow the floor markings.

If you have any symptoms – please don’t come to class.

Leave the room if you find yourself sneezing or coughing continuously.

Minimise the time you spend in the studio – if you can shower at home, please do so.


What are we doing?

Increasing ventilation; maximising outside fresh air inside the studio.

Studio Heater, new Air Purifier and Virus Irradiation Unit have been installed to maximise viral eradication.

Reduced capacity to allow social distancing. 

Hand-sanitising station on entry for all to use. 

Deep-cleaning overnight and between classes.

At Hot Yoga Brixton, we are proud to offer a unique and beneficial yoga classes for everyone, based on classical Bikram, Vinyasa and Yin yoga styles. Our yoga classes are focusing on different aspects of well-being providing a holistic yoga experience for all levels of practice.

Our South London yoga studio is perfectly situated, less than 5 minutes from Brixton tube station and with only 7 minutes to Victoria Station, de-stressing in a hot yoga class after a long day in the city could not be easier. Learn more about us or book a class with us today!

Yoga etiquette

  1. Always try to arrive at least 15 minutes before your hot yoga class so you can get settled in the studio.
  2. On arrival, please remove your shoes and leave them in the shoe rack as our yoga studio is a shoe-free zone.
  3. Please avoid using perfume or deodorant sprays in the changing rooms.
  4. Once in the yoga room, please observe that it is a quiet space. Please do not talk or use your mobile phone.
  5. For hygiene and safety always place a towel over your mat.
  6. During class, feel free to take as many breaks as you feel are necessary – but always remember the more breaks you take the less benefits you will get!
  7. When class is over or when you need to go, remember to leave the yoga room as quietly as possible so as not to disturb others who are completing their class in their own way.

This Vinyasa style class is fast paced and requires greater breathing control than Hatha yoga. An ever-evolving sequence of postures support your natural fluidity and cadence; energising and strengthening the body and mind.

Get slow and stretchy, warming up your body from the inside out. Hold postures for longer to slide into a deep stretch, igniting your Inner Glow. Find your own edge of stillness, allowing your muscles to be soft yet active. Relieve daily tensions while increasing circulation and mindfulness.
This class will target connective tissue, bones and joints, with the added benefit of reducing stress, improving flexibility and encouraging meditation.

This Yin style Yoga incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine, mirroring a slower pace of life.
