UPDATE

National lockdown update

Following the latest announcement from the government stating that indoor group exercise can resume on 17th May 2021 we are preparing our studio for reopening at that date. We can’t wait to see all our members again!

In the meantime we are working on a few upgrades and surprises when we reopen. We will be sending newsletters in the coming weeks so please make sure that you are on our mailing list! If not sure, please email us at info@hotyogabrixton.com and we will make sure you won’t miss any future communication from us.

Memberships

All memberships will be frozen for the duration of our closure and packages will be amended to reflect new opening dates. So there’s nothing for you to worry about or take action on. We’ve got it covered!

It’s a difficult time for everyone, so if you are in need of any support, please get in touch with us at info@hotyogabrixton.com. It might take a little longer than normal to get back to you as all our staff are furloughed, so we appreciate your patience here.

COVID-19 STUDIO ETIQUETTE

Please help us help you!

  • Pre-book online if possible. We’ll be operating with limited class numbers, so take a moment to plan ahead. 
  • Wear a mask – unless you’re in the studio or shower. Your eyes are beautiful!
  • Sanitise your hands on entry.
  • Keep your distance – follow the floor markings.
  • If you have any symptoms – please don’t come to class.
  • Leave the room if you find yourself sneezing or coughing continuously.
  • Minimise the time you spend in the studio – if you can shower at home, please do so.

What are we doing?

  • Increasing ventilation; maximising outside fresh air inside the studio.
  • Studio Heater, new Air Purifier and Virus Irradiation Unit have been installed to maximise viral eradication.
  • Reduced class and changing room capacity to allow us to follow social distancing guidelines. 
  • Hand-sanitising station on entry for all to use. 
  • Deep-cleaning overnight, during and between classes to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  • Temporarily limiting bringing guests to people living in the same household or social bubble.

Welcome to Hot Yoga Brixton, London

At our Brixton yoga studio we are passionate about hot yoga and giving our practitioners the chance to achieve strength and flexibility for both mind and body.

At Hot Yoga Brixton, we are proud to offer a unique and beneficial yoga classes for everyone, based on classical Bikram, Vinyasa and Yin yoga styles. Our yoga classes are focusing on different aspects of well-being providing a holistic yoga experience for all levels of practice.

Our South London yoga studio is perfectly situated, less than 5 minutes from Brixton tube station and with only 7 minutes to Victoria Station, de-stressing in a hot yoga class after a long day in the city could not be easier. Learn more about us or book a class with us today!

Yoga etiquette

  1. Always try to arrive at least 15 minutes before your hot yoga class so you can get settled in the studio.
  2. On arrival, please remove your shoes and leave them in the shoe rack as our yoga studio is a shoe-free zone.
  3. Please avoid using perfume or deodorant sprays in the changing rooms.
  4. Once in the yoga room, please observe that it is a quiet space. Please do not talk or use your mobile phone.
  5. For hygiene and safety always place a towel over your mat.
  6. During class, feel free to take as many breaks as you feel are necessary – but always remember the more breaks you take the less benefits you will get!
  7. When class is over or when you need to go, remember to leave the yoga room as quietly as possible so as not to disturb others who are completing their class in their own way.

STRONG

Get fired up throughout this popular series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Designed to warm and stretch those hard working ligaments and tendons, this class with align the body and mind – making you feel like a warrior. Invest in strength and relaxation for your body and over time you’ll see yourself reshape and heal.

Get your glow from the cyclical nature of this class, which moves fresh oxygen around your body to invigorate and energise. Popularised by Bikram, this type of Hatha yoga is characterised by a set series of postures and breathing exercises in the same sequence each time.

FLOW

Move seamlessly from one posture to another, finding your rhythm and letting the breath guide your body. This style of yoga is all about the art of stringing postures together to create dynamic flow. Tap into your strength and endurance by building on stability, balance and cardio – all whilst lowering stress and relieving tension.
This Vinyasa style class is fast paced and requires greater breathing control than Hatha yoga. An ever-evolving sequence of postures support your natural fluidity and cadence; energising and strengthening the body and mind.

INNER

Get slow and stretchy, warming up your body from the inside out. Hold postures for longer to slide into a deep stretch, igniting your Inner Glow. Find your own edge of stillness, allowing your muscles to be soft yet active. Relieve daily tensions while increasing circulation and mindfulness.
This class will target connective tissue, bones and joints, with the added benefit of reducing stress, improving flexibility and encouraging meditation.

This Yin style Yoga incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine, mirroring a slower pace of life.

– Balances the internal organs and improves the flow of chi or prana
– Improves circulation
